Default Memphis Shades windshields

I was looking for a Harley quick release windshield for my FXST, but ended up find a Memphis Shades Memphis Slim, with an unopened mounting hardware kit, appears to be new, for $75, so I bought it. Anybody use a Memphis Shades windshield? Any good? (I don't have it in hand yet)

I sold all my HD windshield mounts and shield and went to MS. I like their "Trigger Lock" Mounting system better, looks cleaner and no rubber bushings to wear out and replace.

I have the Batwing fairing, Memphis Fats and the El Paseo for my bike , all change out in less than a minute.

memphis is a great company. I ordered the wrong mounting bracket for my batwing faring, they sent me the correct one for free. (they changed it to fit diff.aux lights)

plus its 90% made in america. the pouches were made in china tho.

I've had three of them over the years. Memphis Shades is the only brand I'll ever use.

I have one on my wifes, she likes it cause its bigger than H-D's. One reason they are so much cheaper than H-D is they are Acrylic (Plex) not Polycarbonate (Lexan). The Lexan is tougher and resists scratches better, Acrylic discolors in time. It's been on a couple years now and still good.

The best one I have seen is F4 Customs brand of shield, you can rub steel wool over it and not scratch it. I have 30K miles and 2 years of use with no issues. They come in all sizes and use the stock mounting hardware.

I like mine, brackets are great, fits good. the plastic does scratch a little easier than HD. So nothing is perfect but they cost alot less than the HD stuff and the replacement plastic isn't that expensive..
