Default black pipe options

What are some good options for new black pipes, performance and sound. I have bassani pro street on my night train now and love the sound but the black finish was starting to go so i just wrapped them but will be looking for a new set soon, whats everyones favorite?

Well with the black wearing off in time, I don't know what would be best? I have to different style bikes and like different everything for each. I'm going to put 2 into 1 D&D fatcats chrome on my Ultra (they also have black 2 into 1 for softtails).

I love my 2 into 2 V/H big radius on my lo, but I never run black pipes before this bike. Good luck with your search bro!

I like the fatcat as well. That is what I run. But, there are plenty of other options. Thunderheader, V&H, and the list goes on and on.

i do like the V&H big radius and the short shots, how do they sound? i would think the short shots are louder, and are they both the same diameter pipe?

for 2 into 1 I would go with RB racing LSR's. had em on my DYNA outstanding pipe! 2 into 2 I like the BUB sidecutters. I must say that for right now, I am very happy with the CYCLESHACK slip ons on my crossbones.

I was at a rally last year and rode with a guy that also had a lo with the shorts and I didn't notice a difference in sound. But they are loud and have an attitude! At least they do when I hammer on it.

and yes they are the same dia

i run the VH now, happy with the sound. i bought the bike with blk 2 into 1 thunderheader's, the finish on those had worn and become two tone. in my opinion the VH are louder.
