My dealer told me they are discontinued, then tried to make that an excuse to lowball me on a trade. Idiots. I told them this bike is the new Badboy as far as resale. They called back the next day and offered me retail! But I had to buy a RK Classic 103. I told them thanks, but no thanks. My XBNZ is a keeper.

I think you're right, the Bones is going to be very desirable in the future. Especially if HD quits making Springers of all types. The last time I took the tour of the York plant in 2003, we watched them make spring forks. Comparing the effort of the multi-step process they went through, with taking a set of Jap forks out of a box it is easy to see which would be cheaper for them.

They discontinue models pretty frequently, not many crossbones where I am which is good, seeing as I've got one,the rocker to me is a very ugly bike, that floating seat looks dumb,I don't like the crossbones stock seat, that's why I've got a Corbin!
As for being a rare bike, maybe if it's stock!

The Rocker and the SG Trike don't surprise me...but the XBones has me chin scratchin!
The BadBoys were only made 95-97......so don't scratch too much.!

I agree. The Rocker & the Crossbones were CRETIN models, & needed to go.

Dollar value ain't gonna go up on 'em They discontinued WAY cooler bikes, like the NightTrain, Softail Custom, & Low Rider, and THEIR value hasn't gone anywhere.

1.
a person suffering from cretinism.
2.
a stupid, obtuse, or mentally defective person.

O.K., I may not have much of an argument on the mentally defective, but I'll draw the line at obtuse! Cretin my eye.

I'm thinkin' he meant "certain". I'm not the spelling police but it seems to make sense to me... But then I may be a cretin.
