Thanks for the picture, it definately helps, I'll start giving it a shot tomorrow. Unfortunately I still haven't received my battery cover or head light relocation bracket. So tomorrow morning I'll be working on mounting the rear indicators and relocating the ECM.
Finally back in business. My light relocator and battery cover came in. So this weekend I relocated the ECM, mounted the rear indicator lights, relocated the head light and put the battery cover on. For any of you that need to relocate your ECM prepare for it to take a couple of hours. I literally made a map, unplugged all 33 wires, redirected them, than re plugged them back in. Luckily every wire is a different color and the input slots are numbered. Not hard just takes time. Right now I just have the ECM zip tied into place until I make a bracket to properly hold it.
Now I just need to hook up the wiring to the tail/brake light, and indicators, plus repaint the bike and lower the rear end about two inches then that'll be a wrap.
Bike is stripped down and ready to head to the paint shop tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be done closer to the 4 week time frame the painter told me it will take, than longer. But I know in painter talk 4 weeks is really 6 or 7 weeks. I just hope I get it back before mid April.
Back in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This weekend I'm changing out the handle bars, again. Decided I wasn't fully into the ones I put on, too much rise. So I took off the Wild1 Chubby Dresser bars and will be putting on some Wild1 Chubby Knuckle bars. So I'm going from a 4 1/2 inch rise to a 2 inch rise.
Most importantly I got the call yesterday my tank and fenders are done being painted and airbrushed, he just wants me to stop by the shop and double check it before he polishes them to make sure I'm happy with it. I got lucky and he had a big job cancel and I got bumped up, I wasn't expecting to get them back before mid April. So by next weekend I should be rolling again. Whoo hoo!!!!!
