So awhile ago a company came to us that was planning on doing some work for HD. They wanted a mold for these two cover pieces. We couldnt really get much out of them except they were for a softail. I was just checkin out musicnbikes new BDL and noticed the two parts on his bike.
If you look under his springer seat, you'll notice the two urethane pieces that interlock to cover the battery, fuse, and pcm area. I made the mold!(well my boss and I)
So I know its probably not that exciting to most of you, but I always enjoy seeing something in the end. I make so many things at work and I only get to hear about the crazy things they do.
Oh and if anyone is planning on complaining about it, we didnt design it, just made it. Blame HD. lol
Heres the pic of musicnbikes......bike(hopefully he doesnt mind the extra attention).

Cool! I love the seat, there are some flaws though. For instance, every time I have to unhook the battery, the seat has to come off. It takes about 45 minutes to screw the springs down. I do love the seat though! Thanks! Also, they should put a cover over the bottom of the seat for a stock lo, too. The seat sits directly on top of the battery, like, mashes the battery. That can not be good, long term. Can it?
I totally understand. I remember when I couldn't wait to see my saddlebags on someones Deluxe while I was out riding and it not be someone I know.....Great feeling isn't it?
Sweet...it's always cool to see something you created on the market. Many many moons ago, I worked on GM's EV1 program. It was cool to see those cars on the road.
