I was thinking since HD seems like they are not on the ball in the design department what would you do if you were able to design one?
My design would be a soft tail frame, a hartland type rear fender, 200 rear tire, big cc motor- 107" or more, stretch 5 gallon tank with lift, springer front end, slammed 2" rear, floor boards, flush gas caps, LED lights, factory coil relocation, NICE paint ( stuff from the past that worked and looked nice), nice tank emblems, solo seat that follows the lines of the bike, air cleaner that works (screw the EPA on this one) and so on......
All this for $16,000.00 or $10,000.00 for HD forum members-LOL
You hit the nail right on the head. I think I would not reinvent the wheel,,,I would bring back for a limited time only the KnuckleHead but with all the modern conveniences. It might **** off some HD purest tho...
+1 on build a bike! That would be the best, softail frame, pick tin's exhaust, forks, or springs, seat, chrome or not. Lets face it, the stealership just bolts on **** anyway. That would be uber nice.
