07 FXST Main Shaft Nut Trouble ...Need Suggestions.
Hey,
So I am trying to install a new 30 tooth pulley and I can't get the damn nut off the mainshaft.
I have tried leverage, which broke my first breaker bar, then heat, then some kroil, and finally a impact wrench at up to 500 torque(which is starting to wear the socket tool). That bitch won't budge!
I have the service manual which says its right hand thread plus it also says it on the pulley.
I need some suggestions.
I am at the point of getting a propane torch or cutting it off.
