Default New stretched tank question

Just got a new 4" stretched tank and I was wondering on the transition area of the stretch, what do you fill that in with? Do you have someone weld and grind to finish? I don't think bondo is the answer but I could be wrong. I'm not body man so I need some suggestions here please?

No amount of welding and grinding will come up with anything that will not show through paint. At the point they are now you have to start some sort of bodywork. A little bit of bondo and several coats of epoxy primer and lots of block sanding will make make those extensions "disappear" Here is a set I bought off Ebay for pennies because they had a dent in the side,...show me the bondo.

Will bondo be conductive when I go to powder coat? Going for denim black paint.

man i have to disagree with you bud... a good weld.... grinding... and then A few good coats of a thick powder primer... will make those vanish! we do it alot in the shop....
but for paint i would 100% agree, bondo will make it better... but bondo will not hang in the oven when you heat it for powder... it is a MESS!
