Default Crossbones vs. Heritage length - How much difference does it make?

To any Xbones owners/ex-owners/riders... I noticed the overall length of an Xbones is 90.5" ... My heritage has a length of 94.3", almost four inches longer... However, their wheelbase length is the same (64.5 inches)... Can anyone tell me if this is noticeable when you're riding? I'm 6'1" and I was just wondering if the Xbones would be cramp my arms up, or if there would be enough room for my legs... (not trading my heritage in, just wondering)

If you like the CrossBones you can make it fit you.Which is what everyone should do anyway.

Frame is the same.....

The crossbones springer front end is somewhat de-raked making it a little shorter

cool, thx... but how does that affect your arm space and leg space? do you have four inches less of room?

Being that it is the same frame I would say no it will not be cramped in fact with less rake you might feel that it is going to have more room.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure they measure the longest point! The Heritages rear and front fender sticks out more thus making the measurement longer. Its all in the fenders!!!

I'm 6'1 also and find the bones very comfortable the floorboards could be a little longer but that is it. Still doesn't bother me you can move you feet into a few positions. So yea in short very comfortable even on long rides

If the frame is the same, and the wheelbase is the same...than it's all in the fenders. I'm 6' 4" and ride all the time, and other than wishing I had taller bars to stretch my arms a bit more, it's been great. I did get the HD Goodies floorboard extensions that move the boards out a bit, but I think everyone would enjoy the extra room. It keeps me from feeling like I have to bring my feet in towards the motor so much.

awesome, thx so much for the insight... the Xbones is definitely the badboy of the HD lineup (even tho it's being discontinued)... i just wondered if it would have the same "stretch" factor that i have on my heritage.

the 4' is in the rear fender length it sticks out farther
hers a pic of my crossbones with stock fender notice where it ends in relationship to rear tire

hers my xbones with a fatboy rear fender which is similar notice how far past the rear tire it goes this is the 4" difference in length
