the 4' is in the rear fender length it sticks out farther
hers a pic of my crossbones with stock fender notice where it ends in relationship to rear tire
hers my xbones with a fatboy rear fender which is similar notice how far past the rear tire it goes this is the 4" difference in length
wow, colonel, thx for the photo essay... that makes it all clear now.
btw, that Xbones is sick, esp. w/ the heritage fender.
To any Xbones owners/ex-owners/riders... I noticed the overall length of an Xbones is 90.5" ... My heritage has a length of 94.3", almost four inches longer... However, their wheelbase length is the same (64.5 inches)... Can anyone tell me if this is noticeable when you're riding? I'm 6'1" and I was just wondering if the Xbones would be cramp my arms up, or if there would be enough room for my legs... (not trading my heritage in, just wondering)
ive had both. Im looking to sell the crossbones and go back to the heritage. Im 6 1 also
its rideable but not as comfortable as the heritage
I could be wrong but im pretty sure they measure the longest point! The Heritages rear and front fender sticks out more thus making the measurement longer. Its all in the fenders!!!
