new they are about $300 without the lens or bulb.
I have to confess that I scored big time on the light bucket. I was talking to the shop supervisor at my local dealer about one of the light buckets and he said they ordered one for a guy and he rejected it because it was damaged. He said he would give it to me cheap. I looked at it and there is a small nick in the bucket on the bottom next to the back that was done before the chrome process. You cant even see it unless I point it out to someone. I told him since it was a 2nd I better get a great deal on it. I already had the high output light on my bike in the stock bucket so he said they could swapped it out and installed the bucket for $200. I took my stock bucket and sold it on ebay so I only have $130 in it. I would have put it on myself but he gave me such a great deal I couldnt pass on it.
I have 69851-06 on my 08 Train wish list. It is pictured on many of the softail customs in the Harley catalogs. 4.5", but looks larger than the one on Story's bike. Maybe it is the angle of the photo, but the parts list said it was 4.5. I don't care for the larger ones, makes the forks look tiny.
I went just the opposite of most and put an FL Headlight on mine...looked for something unique in the headlight department and I like it...so it stays.

Not for everyone but I mounted a Fat Bob dual headlight on my train this year. Super bright and something you don't see everyday. Had to make a custom mount to get it to fit and had everthing but the trim ring powdercoated black.
Gotten lots of good comments on it when people realize what it is.
