ok, I guess I am just missing something here. I have a '99 Fatboy that I am going to be replacing the Rear Brake rotor on when I replace my tire and Pads. I have looked in my owners manual (Joke!) and on line and none of them seem to match the one I have. The Harley Bible says that it is a 44108-95 rear chrome rotor. Problem is that the one I have is a solid rotor. All of the pictures I have seen, show holes all around the perimeter of the rotor. This is only my 2nd year as a Harley owner. I know these are probably stupid questions, but who better to get the right answers from than other Harley owners. Everyone has to start somewhere! Stupid question #2: What is the difference between a "Floating rotor" and a regular rotor. I am learning as we go here peeps so take it easy on me.
I tried to upload a picture of the current rotor I have on there but HD Forums kept failing my upload Will try again if someone needs to see the picture.
Thanks to all who respond!
