If you want, just pull the top rocker boxes, rocker arms, push rods, push rod tubes and lifter blocks. Leave the lifters in place. Save the rest and I'll explain my madness when I get there

well i didnt get as much done as i had hoped...got about an hour of work done..30 of it was wasted on the a/c screw!
i managed to drain the tank...all over me and everything else lol
i pulled the plugs...it looks as if it is running really rich...
the last person to remove the air cleaner screw used loctite so i had to dremel a groove into it to get the dam thing out....
im gonna pull the rockers tonight and possibly the heads...

**updated tear down**
Everything has looked like its in good shape so far. which is great because were gonna try and salvage as much of the cam area parts as we can....
pulled rocker covers and rocker assembly
pulled out the push rod tubes/cover and lifter blocks
pulled the heads and called it a night.....
