I have a BLACK heritage harley with the OEM chrome handle bar. I want to put the diamondback chrome braided brake/clutch cables on this bike, but now I'm thinking the black cables may look better. I do have these chrome braided cables on my fatboy and they look great, but then again the fatboy is all chromed out and the cable lines flow with the bike, but I do not want to make the mistake on putting these on my black heritage if the black cables will go with the bike better. Thanks for any pics or any thoughts!!!
My Heritage is also black with chrome handlebars. I have been looking at the braided stuff for a while (don't have the funds to do a complete changeover) and the black definately looks better. Saw them on a Fatboy a couple of weeks ago at the HD dealership and really looked sharp. So for me its black, black and black.
forget the dealer stuff, take a look at Magnum Sheilding cables.they are cheaper and are possibly(i cant say for sure) the ones HD uses and calls them diamondback cables.you can also do a search in here about this subject cause its been hashed and rehashed b4

the magnums are far nicer than the diamond backs. The sterling chromite II's do not face and yellow like the diamond backs do. I have a few diamond backs and a magnum on my bike and you can really see the difference. Plus teh magnums are less expensive. i can get you what you need. Please pm me for pricing.
