I just ordered one a couple of hours ago, the 312X. Thanks
I was originally eyeballin' the 312, but when I saw the latch on the Garage Leathers bag, I knew I had to have it.
And from everything I've been reading on Dr. VTwin's bags, I highly doubt you will be disappointed. I've seen nothing but praise for the bags he sells. But as I said... I couldn't pass up the latch design on the one I got.
I have never seen the latch or how it works on the garage leathers until now. It looks like I should become a dealer. Let me see what i can do about that.
Alright, the bag arrived earlier this week, though I just finally got time to mount it and get some pics. Sorry for the poor quality, but it's from my cell phone. Hoping to get some better ones up soon.
And just in case someone is a little more interested in how the latches work, I took a few of the latch both closed and open.
Love the rugged look of these GL bags...also love the latch.
However, it appears the double strap would allow adjustment of the buckle if you wanted to over stuff the bag?
They both look good, garage leathers and LW bags. But the LW offers the Bag for the true duals. Wish LW made a bag like the one with the latch on it. The latch bag looks good as hell.

agreed
one thing I notice that LW has over all the others...is a 5" depth bag. all the others seem to be 3-4 inches.
