I think i posted on this thread earlier, but ive now had my bag for 700 miles and can't believe how much crap i put in there. Unless your going for long trips and need extra room, that bag works great for everyday stuff. Quality is great and always get compliments on it. +1 on this bag!
Is there a way to lock them to discourage the lazy thieves?
I have a set of the HD 90300003 universal saddlebag locks I got from Zanotti's I'm going to mount on my solo bag.
$59.95 at a dealer vs. $46.80 @ Zanotti's.

The latch on the GL bag I have isn't adjustable. So those that need adjustable straps are going to have to go with LW or possibly look at one of GL's other styles.
GL does have a couple bags with the quick release buckles/straps and some with just the leather straps. So there is some choice there. Not sure if LW's offers bags without the quick release. Dr. VTwin, I'm sure you will have the much needed answer on that one.
Money-wise; the LW bag was much more appealing and would have been the one I bought hands down, except that I really wanted the nickle latch, so had to go with the GL bag. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm 110% satisfied with my GL bag and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone that asks and that can spare the extra cash.
And I'm still looking at ordering a bag or 2 from the good Dr. as he offers some that I'm looking at putting in other locations on the bike. LW seems to have a wider variety in bag types, such as tool bags, windshield bags, fork bags, etc.
I have never seen the latch or how it works on the garage leathers until now. It looks like I should become a dealer. Let me see what i can do about that.

Drew, yea, you need to carry this bag. Its rugged and the military clasp is easy to use and wont pop open.
Khd, again, it wont do any good if you cant get to it quick. You either carry it or you dont. You know what i mean? If it aint on you, you better start talking your way out of the situation. Just saying.
