Well, I pulled the trigger and just ordered my solo bag from Garage Leathers. Called and spoke with Robert as I had a small question about the dimensions and he was great. Took the time to make sure my questions were answered. Sounds like it should ship out on Wednesday.
This is the one I ordered. Went with the nickle latch. Can't wait to get the bag and put it on the bike.
NICE! Please let us know what you think when you have it in hand... if its quality and will hold up to rain and such... not cheap but sure as hell look good! I have looking at the double strap one for a while just waiting to pull trigger. Hope u like it .... post some pics
The only negative is that you should tape off your swingarm, as my bag ground through the paint on mine.
I put 11000 miles on the bag in all sorts of weather without any problems. It's put together well, the leather is thick and hard, (hehe) and the stitching is holding up well.
And they are made in New Jersey. (I think. definitely the US though) . Where is the new harley swingarm bag made? I bet it is NOT the us. Plus it has that f'ing harley logo on it.
I just got mine also and put it on. Used electrical tape wrapped on swingarm with jumbo zip ties to attach bag. The bag is great, more room than i thought there would be in it.
Rubbit... sweet looking bike... I definitely like the look of the bag on it... and it gives me an idea of what mine will look like since my Train is flat black like your bike.
