Front fender spacer for new fender for Night train with pics
Well, I got my Mama Jama front fender, just need to mount it and paint it. I'm looking to you guys for ideas on spacers since the fender is about an inch narrower on each side. I've seen a few in JPcycles, but has anyone else done this, and if so, how'd you do it. Thanks guys.

Do you know anyone who has a lathe in their basement? If so you can get them to cut some stainless steel bar stock and drill through holes in them to make into spacers. Decent grade stainless can be polished up for a nice corrosion free shine.
You can also use some aluminum stock (or blocks cut to match the fork bosses) to do the same thing but put a brush finish on to match the fork leg.
As a last resort mild steel can be used and either chromed or powder coated to match the fender paint color.Or just use the same paint you use on the fender. Just be careful to clean, prime, and thoroughly coat them (inside and out) or they will start rusting fairly quickly.

Thanks guys for the ideas. 06fxstbi, that is what I was pretty much thinking of doing, but I wasn't sure how it would look. Now that I see it, I really like it, looks great! Thanks again!
