Quick Heavy Breather question...
I have an '07 Softail and just installed the Heavy breather.
I already had Screaming Eagle intake breather and it should
be matched up with my pipes and fuel pak....
my question.....the two bolts that holds the thing
together had rubber intakes that protruded on each
side and stuck down into the back of the old breather ?
The Heavy breather just plugged those up ?
The install was easy....what is the purpose of those
rubber intakes that are now plugged ??

had the rubber extension pieces that you push onto when the bolts
are installed for the old SE breather...but those parts are pulled out with
needle nose pliers and discarded...the heavy breather plugs over the bolts
with a chrome cap....
Bottom line is...I just got back riding the new breather and I do in fact
feel a little more horsepower....so I suppose the install works fine without
the rubber air lines.....mine did...no change at all...except for more power
it took me 35 minutes the first...I could do in 15 the next time....
