switch caps on a flstc
I don't know about the switch caps but I change the grips and put on chrome housing covers. The left one was not bad. A couple of little bittie screws in difficult positions but managable. Make sure you have a tee handle of the appropriate size T wrench as it makes it easier to put the screws back in. As noted above, watch out for the little brass shim.
The right side is a complete different animal. Take the electrical connections which are about the same as the left side, and add the complexity of throttle and idle cables. Both of those are held in with C rings which are a bitch to get off. The getting the whole thing back together and adjusted requires a 4 handed person who is also a contortionist. I got it done but the F bomb got dropped about 20 times.
Good luck!!
