08 Heritage Headlight bulb replacement, HELP

I attempted to search for the answer to no avail.

I am trying to replace the headlight bulb on my 08 Heritage and I'm having a hell of a time putting it all back together. Mainly the retaining spring/clip that holds the bulb in place. I even took it to the HD dealer and the service writer couldn't figure it out. (the techs were all gone, of course).

Can someone talk me through it? Pictures would be great. Or a link to a site that will show me how to do it.

I just changed the headlight on my 00 Heritage. Went to the garage to look at the old light to get a sense of how it works but it's not made the same. From changing other light I seem to remember the clip needing to either rotate down and snap into place or sliding into a groove/notch from the side. Sorry I can't help more.

I was searching for a Heritage light and I found it under touring.

Thanks Gremlinslayer! This may be an old post but just helped me out. Just installed a new HID bulb and that stupid wire was trying to kick my @$$. No worries now and the bulb looks great. Looking fwd to the sun going down.
