Now that I got a Daymaker, I'm thinking of selling it...
Not that impressed with the headlight; it is bright, however, it still doesn't give me that full-illuminated pattern I am looking for. The high beam doesn't really seem to be that much help. I have the projector-style.
Has anyone had a Daymaker and gone back to a halogen or HID or H4?

I had halogen spots on my 05 wideglide and could only get about 3000 miles out of them
the first hole I hit would take one out and at the time they were 60.00 a pop so I went back to regular bulbs. Had great light with them just could not afford them
If you've only had it a short time, see if they'll let you exchange it for a Daymaker Reflector. Much better coverage than the Projector....and cheaper too.
I use this one. Stupid amounts of light, but totally not DOT legal. Still, it lights up the road quite well. You also need a 12 dollar ceramic plug to withstand the extra heat of a bulb almost twice the power of the stock 55/60. Twenty bucks total. A set of ten dollar 896 bulbs in the spots add a bit of extra light as well.
