Default largest tire on 03 heritage
Going to need to replace my back tire on my 03 heritage softail soon, what is the biggest tire i can safely go with and will it improve or hurt my handling? maybe someone has this setup and can tell me thanks

I've been told they won't take much more than the 150 that comes on them. I did just buy a new 160 E3 Dunlap. I think it will fit though. Haven't installed it yet.

I have a Mezeler 160 on my 02 Heritage and it rides great. I had to switch out the fender bolts with the kind that are counter sunk into the inter fender struts, but HD started building them like that on the 03 and up, so the 160 should fit your bike with out any problems.

so a 150 80 16 should fit ok. just wondered if it was worth the extra to put them on.

You can get a 16+0 on there, however I run a 130 cause I just don't care how wide my rear tier is. Junk in teh trunk? Nah....
