I've got the BSL's on my Deluxe and the BSS's on my Lo. I honestly think the BSL's look great on the Deluxe and I think the BSS's would be too short for the look of that bike. That having been said...I have to agree with above statements...that you'll get better performance from the BSS pipes. I can easily feel the power difference between both bikes and the ONLY set up difference between them is the pipes.
thanks alot fred for the imput good advice and i will take all comments given and decide.the plan was to put a big sucker on and a race tuner and have it dynoed at harley ,along with the pipes is this considerd a stage 1 , and can tuners be explained to me ,i know how they work but which ones are more advanced and what is the auto tuning feature.thanks so much.
I prefer the longs. The longs should actually perform better as a longer pipe allows for more scavenging of the exhaust gasses. They both come with full length heat shields. They should not blue unless you are running extremely lean. They both have the power chamber. Regular long shots do not have the power chamber. My buddy has the longs on his batboy and they aresuck. I'll post pics when I am back at a computer. I can get them for u too!
I'd go with the Big Shot Staggereds, but spend the extra money and get the Big City Thunder baffles. While it really doesn't make it quieter, it's a lot deeper tone and I noticed an increase in torque after replacing the factory baffles with them.
i like the look of the longshots for my bike but ill be honest im looking for loud to .what if i put the long on and put the thunder city baffles in those would that give me the deep loud sound im after insted of the high pitch raspy sound associated with the longs
