Hows Electro - Magnetic Cruise Assist sound ? Kuryakyn makes one, found it in the j/pcycles.com Catalog Part # 501-205 . 159.99 not too bad a price
I looked into that one, its not bad. But its not a true cruise control, its actually an electro-magnetic throttle control lock. It will only keep the hand control at whatever setting you leave it at. It won't speed up or slow down for hills and such. The up side is that it is easier to override, either up or down without having to fool around with the locking lever first like the stock thumb wheel. It can either be overridden manually by just twisting the throttle, or by hitting the off button. In case of an emergency the front or rear brake will automaticly disable/release it.
Somebody else also make one like it but their name escapes me at the moment.
