I ordered the Vance and Hines Big Shot staggerd with quite baffles and flush cut tips for my 05 Fatboy 15 Aniv.
I wanted the Big Shot Shorts because of the look. But I talked to V&H today and they said that the quite baffles are not available for those pipes. I have heard the Big Shot Staggered with the quite baffles and without - side by side and to my ear the quite baffles sounded better (no high frequency sounds, just a deep troaty sound).
More importantly, V&H said the Big Shot shorts have a HP gain of 2-4hp / 1-3lb torque. Where the Big Shot Staggered has a 9-10hp gain / 5-6lb torque.
It should look nice with the flush cut tips. I'll post some pics in a couple weeks.
RE: ordered my pipes today - almost the wrong ones
I've got the Big Shot Staggereds on my Stage I Fatboy and they sound great with the baffles. So, I get both the sound and the power. To each their own but I draw more than enough attention with them. But then, I'm not in need of attention...

I think you will be very pleased with your choice, I have the pythons which is a sister pipe to the Big Shots but without the adj. tips.
Got to say that I to have given a thought to the quite baffles, and just like you not to quiten down but to change the tone.
