I am replacing the badlander seat that came on my night train. Not only do the C&C seats look good, they seem to be a good price and have had a lot of positive comments. Also, from the comments, it seems like C&C is a great company to work with.
I wanted to find out if anyone had replaced their badlander seat with either a C&C fastback or squareback and if you had any length adjustments done. I emailed C&C and Chuck sent me an email back within the hour, containing a lot of photos and measurements. One thing Chuck said was that the squareback has more lumbar support and a larger pocket, which may make me feel like it's pushing me forward. From the measurements it looks like the badlander pocket length is one inch longer than the squareback. Has anyone experienced this when replacing your badlander seat? Or was your new C&C seat a good match that left you in the same riding position as your old seat? Appreciate your comments.
Just ordered a solo seat from C & C, great people to work with. Having some blue stitching done and they took the time to email me pics of the different color threads. Price was right!
Not sure if this will help or not but I had a military badlander on previous bike and also have a C&C sport tour for my heritage and it from the feel the C&C does not push me forward like the badlander did. We could be talking apples to oranges though.
Luv it. Still have it. I use it when the wife and I are riding together on poker runs and short stripped down trips. I have always liked C&C's lumbar support.
I did a 18 1/2 hour ride two years ago to FL in one day and the only reason why I enjoyed it is because of my C@C Sport Touring Seat.... Best seat I ever had. I have the Heartland seat now that is modified by Mean City Cycles and it does not even come close to C@C.
I am going to need a C@C when I do my trip again this year to FL. You really feel like you are sitting in the bike and not on top of it.
