I have a herinated disk, so I suffer from back problems. I have an 06' Deluxe and the stock seat gave me lots of back problems. I recently installed a Lepera solo with a the gel insert, and it's like night and day. Lepera is more comfortable. The fit is perfect. It sits about 1-2 inches lower than stock. It looks better, but most imprtantly, it saves my back.

I have the original -- modified to fit me better. Been 350 miles in one day no complaints.

You weren't explicit about what is uncomfortable regarding your stock seat. Does it make your butt hurt or does it is cause back pain? If it's your back thats the problem, you may not need a new seat. You could get a sissy bar and then a "Bikers friend" barrell bag, they work wonders for low back pain. I first got a Corbin "rumbleseat" because I thought it would provide the lumbar support I needed; it didn't, so I then got the barrell bag. Now I can ride all day without discomfort or pain.

I went with the Mustang Wide for one reason. The wife. I was actually satisified with the stock seat but, the wife hated it. I got the Mustang and I'm glad that I did. More comfortable for her and me, even when she's not on.

Swapped out the stock torture device.... errr.... Badlander seat for a BAR Enterprises Hitchhiker Plain no split, with millenium foam on the driver's portion. Love the comfort! Love the look.

Cheers!
