It just died :(
So I was riding along .. all is well and the bike just dies. I can cycle the start/run switch and get it to re-start. This has happend three or four times now. Its a Delux model 2007 with about 20K miles. These engine dying episodes happen about 30 to 40 miniuts into a ride. I am in florida so the weather today is about 75 deg outside air temp.
I ran the diagnostics test and here are the results:
P0261 Front Injector Open/Low EFI
P0263 Rear Injector Open/Low EFI
P1003 System relay Contacts Open EFI
P1353 Front Cylinder No Combustion EFI
P1356 Rear Cylinder No Combustion EFI
Anybody got a clue whats up with my bike??
Thanks.
Dave

I have a buddy who has a 2009 Street Glide. One day a few hundred miles away from home his stereo starts acting up. Next thing he knows the engine dies. Nothin! Turns out one of his fuses had vibrated loose. Easy fix but made for a bad afternoon.
wow its happen to me after i put on 28,000km 08 rocker c just cut out on me a few scounds latter i started it up on the fly . its happened to me 6 times now checked it all nothing .ask shop they said never head of it . feel better its not just me but wtf. anyone with insight on this.
If it's not the battery or fuses the next thing to check is your key switch... there are three push on connectors under the dash panel on the switch that I have had work loose over time... everything is great ' til your going down the road and hit a particular bump... one that jars the wire just enough to break contact... then makes contact after you stop.

all the above plus when mine did it couple yrs ago a wrench told me sometimes to take the emc apart, wait a min.. then put together again...
Like a computer sometimes it just needs reseated......

Some things to do and think about....
- plus one on rotary switch. However...I've seen many more start/stop/run switchs on the handlebar than rotary main switches....this is cheap and easy to replace.
-get a little packet of contact gel from Autozone or pepboyz and a new 15 amp fuze....put some gel on the contacts and replace the fuse.
-while the ECM fuze is out...uncouple the ECM from its main connector...apply a small film of the gel on the harness side connector and replace it.
- check voltage on your battery...it needs to be above 12 volts with engine off and above 13 with engine running.
-find electrical connectors on the injectors and disconnect them..apply a little gel and reconnect.
- take all connectors off your battery and frame ground under the seat...apply light film of gel...reconnect them all.
- if you can do it pull the bib where the rotary switch is housed...and connect reconnect the switch connector ...dab a little gel on them too.
-all this still does not get u joy...buy a HD shop manual for your bike/yr and focus in on ignition electronics section.
I've seen squirrely run/stop switches behave erratically...I never use mine....I leave it on run position and only use rotary/main switch. I have seen loose or partially burnt fuses behave badly.
