I realize you are not riding a fat-bob, but I bought a stock seat off a member here from a super-glide. Works perfectly. Next mod will be when I go to Sturgis this year. I am going to take it in to one of the vendors there and have it filled with memory foam. Don't know how expensive it is, but it should be the perfect seat for me then. Good luck.
I have a LePara barebones and love it, one thing is that when the seat is new it is a little hard and has to be broken in. When it is you will love it. at least I do
I'm rollin with the HD Brawler. It is a pretty comfortable seat with average to good looks. I can ride six to seven hours with no problem. My wife likes the Brawler pillion way better than the Badlander also. I picked them both up cheap off of Ebay. I would like to pick up a Lepera Barebones for around town riding because it is the best looking solo seat IMO.
Here we go again. LOL. I love my C&C Lo Pro solo. I have never owned a LaPera so I really cannot comment on the comfort of that. Both companies will custom make whatever you want. Let me know if you need pricing, I sell both at a discount every day.
Cool, thnx for the info.
I do like the look of the barebones, but it just doesn't look comfortable. My bike is already lacking in the suspension area (2" drop in the rear).
Anyone have any experience with the silhouette "deluxe"? It looks like it's designed for a little more comfort than thier other two solos.
