I'll echo the congrats. Anxious to see pics, as I haven't seen a lot of brown bikes...thinking the brown seat and bags will look sweet! Enjoy the ride.

That's very nice. The rootbeer deluxe is what made me trade in my bike for a deluxe. I ended up getting at 2010 and saving a few $$$ but they had a rootbeer not even set up yet and I loved the look

Thx my only fear is not being able to match the seat and the bags not sure that will be a big deal or not.

Like said before... Congrats on the Lux. Its a shame that the Train didn't work out, but the deluxe was in my top 3 (Night Train, then Deluxe, then Fatboy Lo) so I'm trying to do the best of both worlds by adding a deluxe speedo and with my rear fender mod coming up I'll go with the tombstone taillight. Also the Shotgun shock is well worth it.

deluxe

Good luck with your new deluxe. If you plan on keeping the bike a new ride is always nice you know where its been and how it was rode. Take care of it and you will have it for many years. I cant believe my deluxe is almost six years old. I remember when the deluxe was first introduced a friend came in to a going away party for one of the local bikers. he had the new brochure from harley with the black and white deluxe on the cover. i looked at the picture and i knew i had to have one. My subconscious mind went to work and by September 04 i had my deluxe. I did not even test ride one i just had to have one. it was there number one seller that year and is still doing well for harley. enjoy and keep them pics coming as the mods are installed
