Got the PM contour shift and brake lever.Brake lever no problem.Got the shift lever with heel delete (spacer). The spacer is like a 1/4 " too big.I checked with PM Tech and have the right part # for my scoot. They said its the right part # but I am the first one to ever run into problems(that sounds about right for me).The first pic where the pencil is (no splines)is were the bolt for the shift lever runs through. So half of the splines on the shift lever catches on one side and half on the other. You can see in the follwing pics that isn't the case.In the last two pics you can see when the shift lever is installed properly how much bigger the spacer is.They are sending me two smaller spacers that will MAY BE ? get me where I need to be. If not I am just gonna have to trim down the bigger one to fit. Dont think I should have to if they advertise to fit my sled but what you gonna do? Any one else have this problem with this set up?
I don't know but I have the same part on the way so I hope thox is an isolated incident. Nothing makes me more mad than when I have to modify a part that's already supposed to fit.

I must admit I am a little pissed. Nothing like going into the garage to do a 10-15 min mod and it turns into a cluster. Now I am waiting 6-7 days for the new spacers that MIGHT work.I really like the quality and look of the Performance Machine products. But this sucks. Here is the brake lever with my Eddie Trotta Floor boards. They look great together so I will make it work regardless.

I'm sorry to change the subject, but the two nuts that hold your seat and fender bib on are they stock or custom? I can't tell from picture.
Ever worry about someone unscrewing those by hand and walking of with your seat (nice by the way)?
This seems to be the issue of the week. Parts that are supposed to fit not fitting. Hopefully what they send will work. At least they step up and send you something.

PM was very good about trying to make it right.Return calls promptly, sending new spacers free of charge etc.But if they advertise the part to fit the bike .I wouldn't expect to pay for them. The whole kit was only like 75.00 bucks. So I'm not to bent over it.Think I'm gonna modify the original spacer today.
Great looking combo! Let us know if the new spacers work on the shift lever.
Well the new spacers did not work either.Still a little too big.The modifying (cutting) of the first spacer.Well lets say that did not go to well .PM wants me to take a measurement and they said they will see if they could lathe one for me.Soft brake has one for 16.00 I will call them tomorrow and see what the measurement is.May be that will work.If not I'm thinking of just ordering another PM lever and peg and sticking with my heel /toe.Its the spacer that is giving me all the problems. Hope yours works out better than this freakin head ache.

They are just chrome acorn nuts I picked up from Harley. They are actually more secure than the stock door ***** on the Deluxe. They wouldn't be able to take them off with their fingers .Unless they are walking around with a 7/16 socket or wrench. If thieves want something bad enough there is no screw or bolt gonna stop them.

Bro that sucks! I might see if I can change to the heel toe version instead. If they say it's supposed to fit it should fit! I'm not going to be a happy camper if I have problems too.
