Your A/C isn't purple, where did you get that? I have a stock AC cover since purple doesn't match my bike. Where are you guys buying these high flow AC filters for SE or BS without the stupid purple? Paint?! Educate me please.

Neither is mine. Its chrome and right now sitting right beside me on the desk.

Goes off to the powder coating hopefully next week for a nice new satin black flavor.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I am speaking of the element, not the cover. I have a Fuelmoto element and maybe some call it red, but looks purple to me. Whatever, it isn't chrome and isn't black so it looks like chit. Some of your bikes appear to have black filter elements. I know the SE sock is an option, but I know someone has an alternative to the sock.

You can buy black oil or blue oil or red oil (the K&N) to oil the filter. I think I read about it in the Dyna section.
