I'm sure a lot of people would recommend the pc III or something like that. I just have the download, nothing adjustable, but for me thats fine, bike runs well and gets good mileage. I'm probibly not going to be altering the motor-cam, heads, etc. If I did, my download would be useless.

the Harley download is $150 i think that's half the price of the pc111 every time you make a change Harley gets you if you plan on making other performance mods you may be better off with the pc111 one more move with Harley and there you go three hundred gone

If you plan on no further mods to the bike, the HD download is the best value. The download is a canned map designed for SE air cleaner and SE slip-on mufflers. Installing non-OEM pipes could cause you to go a little rich or a little lean, depending upon the pipes flow characteristics.

Harley Davidison is no longer making any pipes worth while. They are now only producing pipes that are street legal which means noise and EPA compliant. Why bother spending all that money on something that is really not that much above stock. You will be paying top dollar for there pipes and another $150 for the download and if you do it correctly you should have the stage one all in all I feel its not worth it. If you go this route and make another change to a real performance pipe later kiss off another $150.oo to the stealer. This is just my opinion.

I'd get a PCIII. Relying on the dealership for downloads is bad for more than just the cash they will charge you. They have EPA to satisfy and often have their hands tied, or rules to go by. Save the $150.00 toward the new PCIII. I did, and I'm very glad for it. I installed the unit myself and it was a breeze on my 06 Deluxe. Now, should I ever decide to do any more mods, all I have to do is my own downloads, which will save alot of cash-plus get better downloads.

If PC does not have it they will soon the fact of the matter is Harley only has a few downloads they do not have one for every combination such as your sampsons they generalize it so you can do the same like try some other download for performance pipes. Harley will not get you any closer. You can take your bike and have it put on the dyno and get it on the money with the pc111

They dont have a download for my set up either. But no worries. I got really close with a download they did have: thunderheader 2-1 stock ecm and SE AC. Mine is actually bassani road rage 2-1's but it works great. It was a little lean but I easily enrichened the mix with the controls on the PCIII. You will be able to accomplish the same by downloading something close such as SE II slip ons, stock ecm and SE AC which they do have-no sweat.
