Seat Removal - Damn Bolts

I need to get to the battery on my '07 Softail Deluxe. What kind of tool do I need to take the seat bolts off? I thought that an allen wrench would work, but I guess that would be too simple[sm=headbang.gif]

What the heck are you guys talking about..... This is a Deluxe, right... Use a standard screw driver to remove the pass. pillion rear center bolt. Lift & pull it back, this exposes two thumb wheel type nuts. Use your fingers to undo the knurled nuts & then lift off the rider seat. The Deluxe is likely the easiest two piece Softail seat to remove. You do not need to remove the bolts holding the fender struts.
