I got a free set of tires....don't ask how....5th amendment issue
;-)..... Same size as factory on my 2010 FLSTFB, but Pirellis. I'd like cast wheels with large spokes....in gloss or flat powder coat. Any ideas on supplier with reasonable prices? So far...I have been shocked at what aftermarket M/C wheels cost.
I recommend Ride Wright wheels. They are not in expensive, but you get what you pay for in this world. I spent half the day at the Ride Wright manufacturing facility ion Anaheim, CA and was thorough impressed with the attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into every wheel they build. I tend to look at at it this way. I only ahve 2 wheels on my bike so I want to be certain that they are high quality wheels manufactured well and that will live up to the harsh conditions I am going to ride them in.
There are other brands that makes less expensive wheels. I was discussing other companies with the owner of this company yesterday and I came to one conclusion. Better safe than sorry. I will not name names to demean anyone or mention any issues that I was told about.
If you need pricing let me know, otherwise I wish you luck in your search for a nice set of rims.
RC Components has some good styles, but your preferences are going to be different than mine. When you figure out what you want, contact Dr Vtwin (Drew) and he'll hook you up.
I suggest giving Coastal Moto a call. They may still have some closeout prices on PM and Roland Sands wheels. I got an unbelievable deal on wheels, rotors, calipers and Metzler tires in a package.
