Help...2011 Fat Boy Lo, Supertrapp X Pipes, missing bracket...

Ok, so I started to throw on my Supertrapp Road Legends X Pipes today and ran into a problem.

It appears that I am missing an L bracket for the front/top pipe that mounts where the footpeg normally is, but the instructions clearly say the bracket is from the bike...

Remove the right side passenger foot peg. Install the L-bracket
for the front head pipe in the rear foot peg position. (This
bracket has a 1/2” wide slot on the long leg of the bracket).

Reinstall the foot peg with an extension to clear the pipes.

I had two buddies over and they looked for it too. It wasnt on the stock exhaust or in the box for the new exhaust.

One of the two that I am supposed to reuse, well, it was there, bolted below the tranny. The service manual does not show another L bracket, other than they one I've already found.

Calling Supertrapp in the morning to see what I need to do...looks like I'll be making one somehow...time's short, Daytona trip planned in a few days.

I spoke to Shawn about this late last night. he said that supertrapp should have no issue sending you the missing bracket.

Thanks Drew...I posted here just in case most bikes come with the part, it's not supplied by Supertrapp AND I have to scramble to make or buy something. I've got less than 4 days to get it together before Daytona.

I've got to tell everyone, I was pretty aggravated last night and when I sent the email to Drew about the issue, I just wanted to get my issue in front of him in the morning. The mere fact that he took the time to respond 3-4 times last night, after 10pm on a Sunday, well, that's awesome.

The question is, will they ship it to me overnight (i'll pay if I have to) so that I can get this bike together in time? I'll call Shawn in a bit, not sure if you Cali boys are even up yet...LOL

I've been up since 4:30 but the shop won't open until 10. Just call Supertrapp and explain the issue. I am sure they will accommodate you. Shawn advised me to tell you to call Supertrapp direct.

Supetrapp sent the brackets overnight, don't know if they charged me yet.

Stayed up till 3am throwing the pipes on...man it was a bitch getting the gaskets in without f'ing em up.

Looks bad ***, sounds freaking awesome...they'll hear me coming now!!!
