stage one questions
I recently bought my 1st bike. A 07 nighttrain from a hd dealer. They said it had stage 1 completed. It has pipes & noticed a kn looking air filter under the stock cover. Is there anyway to tell what & if the fuel was remaped? And would I have to remap if I changed the pipes or intake? The dealer went from acting like best bud to 2nd cousin once removed after signing the papers.

Take off the seat and see if there is a power commander or other unit down there. If not not it could avhe a SERT, TTS, factiory download, etc. If the bike was regualrly serviced at the dealer talk to the service department and have them look up what has been done to it.

Next time you're at the dealer you will have to reintroduce yourself and remind them that you just bought a that bike... always get what the service records are in printed form before you buy. Maybe they will provide them for you now, but you'll have to jump thru hoops.
