Jockey Shift - Which Way?

Dumb question...... Just for clarification, with a jockey shift does moving the shifter forward down shift?

I'f it's mounted directly to the shifter output, yes. Tank shifts are opposite.

Thanks..... That's what I thought. I was messing around in the garage without the shifter attached and had a hard time finding neutral with the engin off. I started mistrusting my logic.

My tank shifter is back for first gear, and forward for 2nd, 3rd etc. It is kind of backward from the way I thought it would be. That is why when I first got it installed I could not get moving. I kept shifting into second gear. LOL
