Spanners has had a fairly active life so far but this has resulted in two lots of fractures to my left foot over the years and its starting to get painful changing gear on long rides......was never an issue on my Ironhead which was right foot shift.
Now you Yankees have access to way more H-D accessories than we Kiwis and I was wondering if anyone does a Forward Control conversion that allows me to change up with my heel or does anyone have an old FLH type gear shaft they wanna sell me that I could weld on to my current controls?
How about the Good Ole Heel-Toe shifter? All gears are always down, no up shifting. Even if you can't press down with your toe, you can just drop your heel on the front shift peg to down shift. I've had the heel-toe shift on every bike I've ever owned since the 70's and swear by them. It's definitely a cheap & easy mod if it will work for you.

That is exactly what I was meaning......where can I get me one of them?
