Default Fender Rails

I scored myself some fender rails front and rear off Ebay last night and went to pick them up this evening, they are from a 93 Heritage, in mint condition, I wasn't sure if they will fit my 07 Deluxe, so I decided to take a chance as they were local to me.
I've placed them in position on the bike and the front will fit perfectly, and the rear looks like it will also fit, but what I need to know is where abouts on the fender struts does this thing bolt on, I'm assuming that there is a blanking thingy in the last holes near the end of the struts, as these are the holes that seem to line up with the rail, am I right, and if I am how do you open up the holes
Anyone with close up pics to post,
thanks.

I need to bump this thread for an answer
I know from searching this forum that the rear rail bolts into the very end bolt holes on the rail, but, can the members that have done this tell me firstly if the blanks needs drilling out, or if they somehow pop out.
also do I just put a nut on the inside of the rail and wind a bolt into it, or does the fender need drilling, I cant see from the pics I've looked at as when I zoom in it distorts the quality.

Many thanks for that, it is as I suspected. I will silicone the bottom tab to the fender, as for the top bolts I will attempt to do it without drilling the fender, maybe by passing a bolt from the inside of the strut and putting a dome nut on the outside, on both sides of the bike obviously.
cheers

Default fender rail

I finally installed the front fender rail last season no drilling just epoxied it to the bottom of the fender. If the fender is removed it will come along with it. i have had no problems at all with it after a full season and i have hit some wicket pot holes along the way. I will add my rear fender rail this season and once again i refuse to drill a hole all this will do is invite a problem down the road possibly bubbling of the paint or rust of some kind believe me if you can get away with out drilling a hole its the way to go. I am dead against the drilling it may take a long time but at some point it will be a problem i have seen this quite a few times in the past all it takes is a tiny speck and in time you got a problem. I will sneak the nylocks in behind the last available hole in the struts tighten them and again use the epoxy to anchor it to the bottom side of the fender as a few others here on the forum have done. when i was inquiring about this a year or so ago some members were just using the nut and bolt with no epoxy and saying they had no problems. this is just my feelings on the subject your bike your decision good luck
