Default Train is FOR SALE

Thanks for all the input guys. After much consideration I have decided to sell the train. I listed in in classifieds, and here's the link if anyone is interested. I just can't get over wanting a deluxe. I am going to buy a deluxe and then probably an older shovel and turn it into a project bike

^Willing to entertain trades for Deluxe or Fat Boy for those interested.

I voted Deluxe before scrolling down to see how sick your Train is... I'd have a real hard time selling that. Would rather save up for a while to add a Deluxe rather than swap. Just my opinion.

Oh man,you just HAD to make me choose between 2 of the most beautiful bikes the Dave has ever produced--The Deluxe, which, especially in 2 tone, is the most elegant bike in the HD lineup, and the Train, which is unique in its righteosity, agressive yet beautiful at the same time. Based on looks alone, it would have to be a coin toss;I could NOT decide this on my own. They are both the "Supermodels" of the bike world. Nothing comes close in sheer aesthetic beauty. The Deluxe would win out in comfort over the Train. I had a Train, and they are NOT comfortable unless you put on pullback risers like I did, and then they still can't compare to the Deluxe's comfort. In your case I would keep the Train for one important reason--NO BIKE PAYMENT! You can lose your job, but you won't lose your Train. Assuming you were gonna buy the Deluxe outright after selling the Train--well I'm just glad I don't hafta make that decision, 'cause I couldn't.

If you decide on the Deluxe, I hope you don't put that 21" front tire & 10 foot long Fishtails on it--doesn't look good in my book;but that's just me.

Remember these words--IMHO, I think it is better to regret NOT doing something than to regret DOING it.

I do not get the swap too, if you are leaving the train I would think you would want an Ultra, Road King, or even a Springer classic. but just to change the front tire size and rear fendr ? not worth the investment if you ask me. ..
I think our bikes become more and more as you continue to own them.. I look forward to having the opportunity to have to lots of riding and health on my bike and saying one day "yeaa I had this baby for 20 years now ".

Option 3 or C

Have both!

I had to vote for the Deluxe, in that I already have a Nightrain making me sorta' biased.
