yeah thats what i had thought about the skidlid.. the sizing chart was the same as most of the others, and being 24 im between large and xl, but the large was loose on me.. which is why i think i have an odd shaped grape, but i hope that works out for you.. and hopefully you can take some pictures of how the rockhard fits please
lol Yeah I dont think I have a Grape. From the couple of guys Ive talked to that have rockhard helmets, they fit true to size. Im gonna post some pics and a review of the Rockhard, when it comes in.
The bell looks good, not mushroomy. Jim, you said your head measured at 24? Thats a XL with Rockhard. Im wondering if the LG I ordered is gonna be too big or loose. Its supposed to be here today.
Cant wait to get it, and try it on. KLF33 I thought about the Silver flake also, but decided to go with the Flat black one instead. My buddy has the red one and its AWESOME. The Red Flake really POPS. They are well made helmets. Cmon UPS man.

it's not horrible..definitely feels like it'll help keep air out of my ears, but it's hard to hear anything else while even standing still.. though im partially deaf in one anyways from being artillery.. it does sit a little higher than i was looking for though..but not terrible.
the padding on the inside is pretty hard, but the pads around the ears are pretty soft.. we'll see how it goes, i have 60 days to return it, and i have a NovDot on pre-order anyways.
edit: Yeah i've measured myself several times with a cloth tape measure, and i've had someone else measure and it always came out between 23 15/16" and 24".. but what's 1/16 between friends.. like i said, the skidlid large was big on me, the medium Bell is snug but fits the way a helmet should.. so idk what's going on with the sizing charts.. that's the problem with ordering online, ya know?
Well, The UPS man came just now. I opened the box and it looks GREAT!!. The bag it comes in is very nice also. The Matte Black is very Slick and the helmet looks Bad A**. Tried it on and like a Glove it Fits. A little Snug but very comfortable. The inside is very soft, I mean SOFT. The stitching looks good and Im stoked, gonna go take a ride and see how it feels.
I put some pics up, so check em out.
