SFTl 1, Ive tried on other brands. My buddies have some helmets, Ive tired on a Bell, 1970's Fulmer, and the rockhard. I wanted a rockhard after I tried his on and I glad I bought one.
Just wish I would have got the Silver Flake one. The rockhard fits better then the Bell. The size is True.
My melon measures about 22 3/8 and I wear a medium in every helmet I've owned so far. I recently tried on a Bell 500 and a Fulmer V2. The Bell "M" was too tight around my head and the cheek pads were a little loose, but acceptable, the "L" was too loose and the cheek pads would have been too loose as well. The V2 "M" fit snug around the head and the cheek pads were very snug - possibly too snug, I did not try a large yet in the V2. I prefer to find a well made 3/4 classic in "M" that fits well seeing as though most "L" shells jump a size from a medium shell adding to the mushroom effect.
Well I think your in luck then bro. Because I think the rockhard falls into the Medium Category. I felt the same way about the Bell and the Fulmer, just too mushroomy. The Rockhard is just rite, I mean your gonna get alittle Mushroom effect no matter what.
Everybody says the licks will be the lowest profile, but the problem is you have to have 1 inch of padding to be DOT approved. So its really what helmet fits your noodle the best. Me personally, I think the Rockhard is well porportioned to my body. Its not too big, and its comfortable. So Im happy to the point that Im gonna order the silver one also.
Just ordered my lg. Rockhard in black from Motorcycle Superstore. Delivery says by 4/4. It was in stock so I shouldn't have any problems. I've ordered a lot through them for my dirt bike.
1) I prefer Bad Company 2.. though i've played both on the PC, didn't care for Black Ops..
2) Here's my Bad Company 2 helmet, courtesy of the USMC. 100% Kevlar with a leather inner padding and nylon strap. Bullet resistant and shrapnel protective, and only weighs like 6lbs. Haha. All i gotta do is stitch a DOT sticker on to the back of that effer and i'm ready to roll.
Hey Jim, I dont know about yours ... but damn those leather headbands get funky when they age. At least mine was!
I went ahead and ordered a L from motorcycle superstore. I have a XL coming from leather up. I ordered one of each because of how many of you guys are scooping them up, I don't want to risk the XL being too big then ;arges being on back order or something. I will just send back whichever I don't need.
Street, what does your head measure and what size did you get in the Rockhard?
22 3/8 and I bought a medium, I have a fat head and my wife says it looks small on me but it's a great fit and the large was a little loose, I figured if I went with the large it would stretch out some and be too loose.
Damn street that does look good. I think everyone that gets one is gonna be satisfied. Your evidence that size is true.
Where did you get the visor? The silver looks good Bro.
