Yea I dont have any thoughts that this helmet will provide maximum safety in the event of an accedent, but honestly if thats your major concern, then I dont think any beanie style helmet is a good idea. most of the injuries sustained in a motorcycle related crash are on the lower part of your face, and especially your chin. the only reason I want a DOT helmet, is to keep the cops of my *** and not have to pay hella tickets.
I kinda have a feeling the guys who are willing to wear novelty helmets are in the same boat.
I will tho, be picking up a Licks novdot in flat black for those long rides =)
I can dig it. I have been riding over 25 years, and never had an accident. I have had a few minor lay downs. I always drive very defensive. The times I almost had a bad one was showing my butt. Here is a link of the helmet I ordered. I also ordered a quick diconnect for it. http://www.helmetsinc.com/DOT-VENTED...VGB_11_prd.htm

Hey Fab, thanks for your info man and your guy rocks (although my price wasn't as good as yours). Hopefully I'll have that in my hands in a few days.
Rad, Fab. I had missed those pics of the Canadian lid and it is **** up! The ones I had ordered from Kirk came in small, and am returning. (the one I ordered for me fit mama, so she gets it). Her's goes back and I am getting one of those. Hi-Priced, but opposed to a $140 ticket, It's a deal. Styling Legal, yee-haa. Thanks.
