+1. Skid lid is the smallest outside dimension helmet I could find. Cheap too. I hate mushroom heads.
again maybe it's just my weird shaped grape, but I bought a skid lid naked and thought the thing looked pretty huge on me.. its just my opinion, but you get what you pay for with that one.. it just didnt feel very comfortable on me..
Went for a long ride today. Did a Poker run for charity today, and rode with the Rockhard.
Loved it, it was 87 here today and I love my helmet. The comfort of the leather inside is the Best. It gets softer when you ride with it for alittle bit. Its gotten better and better with every ride. I would still like to see it side by side with a Licks.
yeah, I measured out at a Large, ordered a L and XL just to be safe because I have a stoopid shaped grape. I am wearing the L and selling the XL to a brother. The L started off a little snug, but as I have worn it, it has started to fit even better. It is hands down, the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. Even if the Licks is more low profile, I am sure it wouldn't beat the Rockhard in comfort or niceness of the interior....A few of my Brothers were like, "I would never wear a 3/4 helmet!" Some of them wanted to try it on anyway, the minute they did, they were like "wow, what brand is this again?"
