my contribution, even if I've posted it somewhere else already .

I can't upload pictures on this forum unfortunatly

I tryed to stay with the original black line style. The pull back is obtained because the vertical part of the handle bar is longer, so the pull back effect is like 2 inches , without any curve backward like the "pullback" version taht is just launched now.

I think so too, but it might be a tough position with those forward controls.

Can't you just put on some risers and then you can add any bars you like ? Am I missing something ? Is there no way to put risers on ?

I just bought my Blackline and from what I can see the speedometer is mounted in between the handlebars. So I'm looking into moving the speedometer similar to where they relocate it for the sportsters on the side of the tank. I then would like to put some mini apes from Nash on it. I think that when the speedometer is out of the way you would be able to put risers on it and whatever type of handlebars you want.

Risers are not the way I want to go. I like the look of the hidden wires... I am thinking of getting a set of 8inch T-Bars and having them modified for the wider riser spacing... Powercoat them black and done... The HD replacements don't look right to me. Something about individual bars that I don't like...

i bought the new blackline back in august and i had the dealer fit the pull back version of the split bars, it cost a few $ as i had to have the brake cables and electric's replaced as the originals were too short but the differance in the ride and handeling was amazing. You may want to visit your dealer and enquire about the pull backs see if he has a demo with them fitted .........the ride and hadleing is totally different

I did the same as Cagey. Not cheap especially if you replace everything with the Black Diamond cables. Totally changes the ride though and makes all difference.
I love riding this bike a 1000 times more than I did my deluxe. Fits like a glove.
