Will any rear fender bib work with a Le Para bare bones solo? I looked at the mustang site but there site states only with there seats. If so any pics? http://www.mustangseats.com/Categori...=Fender%20Bibs
The Harley site states the same thing RE: only with there seats.
I would like to cover up all the holes in the rear fender.
I have a corbin seat and a mustang bib. my seat sits on it in the front and there is the one screw down in the back the seat holds it in position in the front i did remove the bracket which has the two studs coming up from under the fender.

Reason: spelling
I ran Mustang bib with a different seat and it was fine. And, I run a C&C bib now. But the mustang worked fine with C&C as well. I just stick the end under the rear of the seat as my fender does not have the two holes behind the seat like the Heritages and Deluxes.
No reason the bib wouldn't work with any seat - nothing brand-specific in the design. Here's an old photo of the Mustang bib with the original Harley seat:
Thats the Mustang bib..??? Those only cost app $30. , right? Looks alot better than I thought.
Yep it was just under $40 from Dennis Kirk. I got it in 2 days and it fits perfect! I was gonna buy the HD one, but I couldn't see spending $70 for something I could get for about 1/2 of that!
I wonder why the Mustang web site claims the bibs only work with the Mustang solo seat?
I would order one right now if I was sure it would cover what it's supposed to cover on my Fatty Lo.
They make them in 2 widths....the wider one id for the 200 rear fenders. Mine covered all of the protection tape, which is good for when I switch for 2 up riding.
I will say that when you put the bib on...then the seat over it, its harder to thread the thumb screws because you lose a lot of the threads for the actual thickness of the bib....but it does work.
