Default Mustache with chaps

I've seen alot of the Mustache engine guards. And the dealer handed me a guard to show me that my little short legs will reach it ok. Plus thinking about those foot rest that swivel back to the rider that attach to the bar. But my question is, does anyone have the chaps for the mustache bar and does it give the coverage as the larger engine guard chaps. Is it worth using the Mustache version or go with the regular engine guards to use the chaps when needed, especially when it rains.

A couple of years ago when I had the Moustache Engine Guard on my bike I tried the "chaps" that were available for it at the time (I purchased them off EBay) and they seemed to work well. in fact in So Ca they blocked so much air that iI did not use them long because it was too hot with them on.

I'm in So Cal as well and have the mustache bar on my LO. I don't use the chaps...maybe because I don't know what they are...but I can vouch for the bars as nice. I'm only 5'4" and my little legs can reach them fine as well.

I have the moustache engine guard on my deluxe. I found some very nice leather engine guard chaps from Chillowee leather. Custom made to order in 2-4 days. I got them with studs and indian head nickels to match my Leatherworks bags.
Can't post pics yet, sorry.
