Sounds like you need to call them up and set up a meeting with the manager and get some free stuff setup. Jacket, Helm, boots, gloves and also your loan papers are signed? I bet you already have a first payment due date already too. That needs to be pushed back as well.

I'm going to take my wife to help with this. I'm gonna try to get something out of this. I'm pretty mad. And I'm gnna try to push back that payment, but with papers signed it's a long shot. At the beginning they wanted a deposit to even LOOK for the bike. Of course that didn't happen. I refused to pay for a bike I didn't have. Funny... I have a VIN and a bike. It's mine, no questions. I should just drive out and just get the darn thing! I woud too, if I didn't work.

I thought about this already. I wish! If I could pull that off I'd flip!

Skip the manager as he really could not give a ****. Go above him and demand pipes or something like that.
Same thing happened with me this time. Got the loan, paid the down payment, all paper signed, got a ride to dealer and dropped off to pick it up. dealer pushed bike out, put plate on and started it for me to pull away. As I put it in gear the manager runs out and demands $1000.00 more telling me the sale guy made a mistake. After alot of bs words and so on I ended up leaving without bike. I called the state police and consumer protection department and asked if this was legal and was told no. Long story short I paid the $1000.00 more ( now have two pink slips with different amounts) but got the $700.00 pipes and a $1000.00 credit. Not quite the same as you but it pays to go over the managers head to get stuff done sometimes.

Wow, that was some BS. I'd be happy with a sissy bar and passenger pilon. I'll talk to them, and I'll take my wife in. She runs a business and knows how to deal better than I do. I still owe them money but I'm not handing over crap without my bike.

That signed contract is worthless because they did not provide a motorcycle that you signed for in those papers. Right now those papers can be toilet paper due to the fact they failed to provide what was promised.

How can you sign papers without a title number being on the contract? That doesn't sound very valid to me. I would call the institute that did the loan and cancel it out and get my bike back and start over with an other dealer. Apparantly this one can't deliver a bike like they said they could.

I have a TITLE#, a VIN#, everything. I didn't sign without everything in place. Except the bike. I never anticipated this as being a problem. I have purchased many things before, this has never been an issue. But this really sucks!

My buddy just got a CVO RG Ultra. It was supposed to be in a week and a half earlier than it showed up. He had signed the papers about 10 days before the bike arrived. But he had also negotiated a killer deal on teh bike so he jsut waited patiently. It is a fact that trucks that transport the bikes can get caught ifn bad weather and run falte. My gueses is it is not the deaelrs fault, but I am sure you can work it to your favor. Remember, you catch way more flies with honey than with vinegar. Working in a sales capacity myself, I have the opportunity to deal with numerous people all of whom deal with situations in different ways.

Anyone who loses their cool and yells at me still gets treated well, but being nice is much easier as I would much rather deal with a person with a calm demeanor. It is all about how you approach the situation adn having a serious attitude never goes over well. There is something to be said for having good social skills.
